I have some very exciting news to announce!
For the past year, I have been working on a mapping technology that will allow golfers to locate public golf courses, practice facilities, and instructors in the United States. Today that feature is live on the site.
This is part of my continuing commitment to make Practical Golf one of the top resources for golfers. The map will continue to evolve over time with new features, and my goal is to have every single public golf course in the world on there eventually.
You can check out the map on this page. Simply zoom in and out, and you will see as you get closer to a geographic area more golf courses, driving ranges, and instructors will appear. You can show or hide courses, driving ranges, or instructors by selecting the icons on the top left. Additionally, you can search by geography in the top right corner.
A lot of time and effort was put in to make the map intuitive and easy to use, I hope you enjoy and be sure to share it with fellow golfers!
