Many of you are in holiday gift-shopping mode right now (and gently nudging loved ones to buy things for you). In this article, I’ll give you some gift ideas from my favorite clothing brand Linksoul. Over the past few years they have entirely taken over my closet, and since I’m wearing something from them almost every day on and off the course, you could consider them the “unofficial” clothing brand of Practical Golf.
The reason I’m such a big fan of their line is that they have a wide selection of clothes that can be worn on and off the golf course. While it’s inspired by golf culture, they’ve become a pretty popular lifestyle brand even amongst people who have never picked up a golf club.
I’ll give you some of my favorite picks from multiple categories. Also, Practical Golf readers get the largest publicly available discount on their clothes. Just use code PRACTICALGOLF at checkout to snag 20% off.
I’ve made an attempt at some male modeling for each section, here we go…
Layers
When the weather gets colder, there are plenty of layer options available. You’ve got your choice of sweaters, quarter zips, vests, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, windbreakers, and plenty more. Whether it’s my windbreaker or vest, everything is made of top-notch materials that can stand up to the elements whether you’re playing golf or going for a hike.
My new favorite piece from the Winter Collection is the Campfire Flannel Overshirt. On the outside, it’s a slick looking, nicely-fitted flannel. On the inside, there is an extra lined layer to keep you warmer. I’ve worn it several times when the temperatures ranged from 45-55 degrees and found myself sufficiently warm.

Pants
I’ve been a jeans guy forever. I never quite found another casual pant that I wanted to wear other than denim until Linksoul released their Torrey Modern pants this year. If you’re looking to switch things up these are a great option. They’re not quite khaki, and definitely not jeans, but fall somewhere in between. They’re versatile enough to dress them up when you’re heading out to dinner, or if you just want to hang around your house.
I also love the fit. They’re not super tight, but don’t give you a baggy feel either.
I’ve also got several other styles like more formal khakis and rain gear. You can shop the entire pants collection here.
Short Sleeve Polos
Perhaps the most versatile category are Linksoul’s short-sleeve polos. Almost every polo can be worn on and off the golf course.
For the past couple of years, I’ve been wearing their Coast Highway Classic Polos. I’d put it up against any of the other companies saying they have created the “perfect polo” out there. It’s comfortable, stylish, and most importantly it can be dressed up or down depending on what activity you need it for.
On the golf course, I have been partial to their Anza Drytech Knit shirts. This is more of a performance polo that has moisture wicking properties and has more stretch to it. You can wear it on those hot and humid summer days and the material will hold up nicely. These are quickly becoming my go-to selections during spring and summer rounds.
There are tons of other short-sleeve polo designs available as well, you can view the entire collection here.
Tees
One of Linksoul’s most popular categories is their Tees. They have tons of unique designs, and they are all amazingly soft which makes them comfortable for lounging around the house or out and about. I’m up to 10 tees in my closet – they’re addictive.
You can shop the entire Tee Shirt collection here.
Shorts
Anyone who has worn Linksoul’s Boardwalker Shorts quickly becomes obsessed with them. You can dress them down with a tee shirt, wear them on the golf course, and even wear them swimming. They are constructed with a 4-way stretch fabric that makes them a performance short when you need them. Additionally, they nicely toe the line between being too baggy or tight.
I started wearing these as my spring/summer casual shorts, but then realized they were the perfect golf shorts also. I’ve got them in multiple colors now after buying my first pair because they are just that awesome.
You can view the rest of their shorts collection here.
Long Sleeve Polo
If you’re looking for a long-sleeve polo for work, the golf course, or a night out, Linksoul has a few options available.
Recently they released a long-sleeve version of their Anza polo. It also features a lightweight performance fabric that is light, breathable, and wicks away moisture. It’s pretty sharp and you can dress it up nicely if you’re not wearing it on the golf course.
You can also check out several other styles in their tops category.
Other Cool Stuff
There are a few other categories from Linksoul that would make great gifts.
If you’re looking to decorate your home or office, you can check out their printshop that features some really cool original artwork. I have a couple of prints on my office wall.
Some other smaller gear you could pick up is their hand-forged ball markers, which is a cool collaboration with Seamus Golf.
Or, if you’re looking to protect yourself from a downpour you can check out some of their unique umbrellas.
I hope I’ve given you some great ideas for your holiday shopping. Don’t forget to use our 20% off code PRACTICALGOLF at checkout to snag an extra discount. You can visit Linksoul’s site here.
